Case Study at a Glance
A regional pediatric leader that kept the same digital growth partner through acquisition.
PAK Pediatrics is a four-office pediatric primary care practice serving families across Northeastern Pennsylvania. LSEO has worked with PAK since 2017, expanding the relationship from traditional SEO and patient acquisition into GEO, AEO and first-party AI visibility measurement.

01 / The Challenge
PAK already had a trusted local brand. The opportunity was to make that authority discoverable far beyond branded search.
For a pediatric practice with deep community loyalty, the next stage of growth depended on showing up before a parent already knew the PAK name — across Google searches, question-led content discovery, and increasingly, AI-generated answers.
The strategy had to work in a high-trust healthcare category. Content needed to be useful, medically reviewed, structurally clear, and strong enough to earn visibility for thousands of non-branded questions parents ask about newborns, breastfeeding, medications, sleep, development and pediatric care.
Then, in October 2025, PAK joined Playground Pediatrics. The ownership changed, but the growth mandate did not. LSEO remained in place and the search program kept compounding under the larger organization.
02 / The Strategy
Build pediatric topical authority that works in traditional search and answer engines.
LSEO organized the program around the questions families actually ask, then connected content quality, technical SEO, entity clarity and AI visibility measurement into one discovery system.
Build Topic Pillars
Map PAK's core pediatric service areas and parent questions into content clusters capable of creating durable topical authority.
Create Expert-Reviewed Content
Develop useful, answer-first pediatric content with client review for subject-matter accuracy and healthcare compliance.
Optimize for SEO + AEO
Structure pages so Google and answer engines can clearly understand the question, answer, entity relationships and supporting context.
Measure AI as a Real Channel
Use LSEO AI to track mentions, model-level visibility and — critically — actual visitors referred from AI answers.
03 / SEO + AEO Performance
Organic discovery accelerated across clicks, impressions and rankings.
The supplied 16-month Google Search Console export shows 234,000 organic clicks and 19.8 million impressions overall. The clearest year-over-year comparison is August: monthly clicks nearly doubled while impressions more than tripled and average position improved from the middle of page two to page one.

Answer-First Content Wins
PAK's strongest pages answer the same questions parents bring to Google and AI assistants.
04 / AI Search Performance
A 94 AI Visibility Score — and 8,641 visitors who actually clicked through from AI answers.
LSEO AI tracked PAK from January 1 through September 14, 2026. The result is more than citation volume: PAK has generated measurable referral traffic from AI at a scale rarely seen in the platform.
AI mentions by engine

Why the referral traffic matters
AI visibility is easy to reduce to a mention count. PAK shows the more important outcome: people are leaving AI answers and visiting the practice's website.
8,641 AI-referred visitors in less than nine months gives LSEO a first-party view of AI as an actual traffic channel — not simply a visibility metric.
05 / Growth Through Ownership Change
The business scaled, changed owners, and kept the same digital growth partner.
PAK joined Playground Pediatrics in October 2025. The transaction changed the ownership structure, but it did not interrupt the LSEO relationship — and the strongest search and AI results in this case study were recorded after the transition.
LSEO does not claim that marketing caused PAK's transaction. The point is narrower and more useful: PAK built a durable growth relationship before the ownership change, and the new organization retained that relationship as the search landscape evolved. Public transaction information confirms the October 2025 closing.
06 / Earlier Patient Acquisition Proof
The longer partnership also proved LSEO could turn media spend into patient demand.
PAK's currently published LSEO case study documents an earlier phase of the relationship in which digital paid media materially outperformed the practice's prior traditional-media approach.
07 / Why It Worked
PAK's strongest results came from treating authority as a compounding asset.
Content matched real parent questions.
Rather than publishing generic practice content, PAK built depth around the questions families actively search — the exact format that also performs well in answer engines.
Expert review protected trust.
Healthcare content requires more than search optimization. PAK's clinical review process strengthened accuracy, credibility and the signals search and AI systems need in a high-trust category.
The relationship kept adapting.
What began as an SEO and growth partnership in 2017 now spans GEO, AEO and first-party AI measurement — without resetting the strategy every time the market changes.

Measurement & Data Integrity
Search, AI and historical paid results are separated by source and measurement period.
The case study combines current first-party search and AI visibility data with earlier paid-acquisition results already documented by LSEO. Metrics with different scopes are intentionally not blended into a single composite result.
Raw export from May 13, 2025 through Sept. 12, 2026. The Search Console 16-month view reports 234K clicks, 19.8M impressions, 1.2% CTR and average position 7.2.
August 2025 vs. August 2026: 10,505 → 20,425 clicks and 641,214 → 2,016,722 impressions. Monthly position shown here is derived from the daily export.
Jan. 1 through Sept. 14, 2026: AI Visibility Score 94 (+18%), 30,090 mentions and 8,641 AI-referred visitors.
Page-level clicks, impressions and positions come from the supplied Pages.csv export for the same 16-month Search Console window.
Historical Google and Meta lead/CPA figures are carried forward from LSEO's existing PAK Pediatrics case study and are presented as prior-program proof, not current-period AI metrics.
